The June Rain

             THE JUNE RAIN
             By: Akhilesh Agarwal

fought in the start and then lost
with the fear of tyrannical ghost
walked alone through all the pain
dancing death in the june rain
paved the way and then abandoned
with the death warrants sanctioned
searching for hope in the lane
dancing death in the june rain
what he sought he searched everywhere
citizens far away from love and care
walk, stop and run again
dancing death in the june rain
everyone took him instead
but he was innocent, he said
say, feel the blood of innocence in my vein
dancing death in the june rain
fought the world though he knew the end
to terrorize the world, he didnt tend
see all his power drain
dancing death in the june rain
see the world drift apart
all bullets aimed right at his heart
with the misconceptions, nothing he could gain
dancing death in the june rain
end to come, so close, yet far
hear his bleeding speaking scar
leave the innocent, caught in the chain
dancing death in the june rain
came the day he dreaded most
hanged he was, media did boast
but they didnt knew he was a feign
dancing death in the june rain

  1. I am convinced that this poem will leave all those literary scholars baffled, even years after you die.
