The June Rain

             THE JUNE RAIN
             By: Akhilesh Agarwal

fought in the start and then lost
with the fear of tyrannical ghost
walked alone through all the pain
dancing death in the june rain
paved the way and then abandoned
with the death warrants sanctioned
searching for hope in the lane
dancing death in the june rain
what he sought he searched everywhere
citizens far away from love and care
walk, stop and run again
dancing death in the june rain
everyone took him instead
but he was innocent, he said
say, feel the blood of innocence in my vein
dancing death in the june rain
fought the world though he knew the end
to terrorize the world, he didnt tend
see all his power drain
dancing death in the june rain
see the world drift apart
all bullets aimed right at his heart
with the misconceptions, nothing he could gain
dancing death in the june rain
end to come, so close, yet far
hear his bleeding speaking scar
leave the innocent, caught in the chain
dancing death in the june rain
came the day he dreaded most
hanged he was, media did boast
but they didnt knew he was a feign
dancing death in the june rain

The Better Man

The Better Man
By: Akhilesh Agarwal

For everybody who ever told me i couldnt stand
And for those who told me nowhere i had land
I am gonna do it for me and show you i can
To bring me down, there was never born such a man

I got the fire, i can rise above the ground
I got the faith, never believed what they say around
So all your jokes and other crappy things are wasted on me
I was born to be great, can't you see?

I am a champion and ofcourse i believe in me
For a better person than me could never be
I have survived and i have faced the winds
I was born to fly so i spread my wings

For everybody who ever told me i couldnt stand
And for those who told me nowhere i had land
I am gonna do it for me and show you i can
For one day i would be able to say,' i am a much better man.'

Miss You

Miss You
By:Akhilesh Agarwal

She worked like the wind
and woke with the sun
she laughed like the spring
and loved with her heart.
and years have passed, time flew
she went somewhere, i never knew
and flowers blossom but never smile
come home to me, i miss you
time is hard and doesnt tide
and i really need you by my side
i am like a bird in a golden cage
you must still be beautiful, you never age
oceans are blue and seas torn apart
you are the longing of my heart
and it was my stupid, stupid heart that never knew
so dont really blame me if i miss you

The Silver Moon

My first post.... So excited!!!!

The Silver Moon
By: Akhilesh Agarwal

As the sky turns dark blue
And moon melts in the horizon
Through the stars i kiss you
And i hope you will stay true too
All the quiet chirping birds seem asleep
Maybe i have lost count of time
As i am in your thoughts heart-deep
And maybe i need to catch some sleep
But whenever i lie down on bed and stare
All the angels on ceiling remind me
That babe, its impossible for me to sleep without your love and care
As you only can save me from a nightmare
So i am gonna just write a song
And when you come back from where you have gone
Darling, we will laugh and dance along
But, oh my lady, don't you take too long
And then sun rays touch my eyes
And the birds race to the sun
I sit on wet green grass and realize
One may die but one's love never dies
I see a young lad with candy in his hand
And i am reminded of my childhood days
When on high hilltops i would stand
And watch shooting stars drop on land
I would listen to love songs and think them to be fake
Love can never happen to me, i always thought
And then you came in and it was like a quake
Your beauty was more than i could take
So darling, you better come back soon
Because wind is also tired of delivering of your kisses
And sun hides behind the bushes and sky turns maroon
Baby, till then i will romance the silver moon...
